Science Teacher/Engineer Mentoring Workshop December 7, 2016

The Central Region of NJSTA will be hosting a Science Teacher/Engineer Mentoring Workshop for Middle School and High School Science Teachers. The program will begin at 4 p.m. with some lecture, open discussion and brainstorming of ideas for implementation and incorporation of engineering into your lesson plans. Engineers will arrive at 6 p.m. to work in small groups with the teachers.

A non-refundable workshop fee of $ 15 for NJSTA members; $ 40 for non-members (this includes a 1 year membership to NJSTA)
Food: A light dinner will be served
Please bring 6 copies of a sample engineering lesson plan (one you created, or someone else created) to share and discuss with other teachers and engineers.
4 professional development hours
There will be an opportunity for teachers to exchange contact information with the engineers at the meeting.
By registering for an NJSTA event, you grant permission to NJSTA to take and use your photo in marketing and promotion pieces for an indefinite period of time. Marketing and promotional pieces include, but are not limited to, printed brochures, reports, postcards, flyers and materials, as well as online uses such as postings on the NJSTA website, online newsletters and email blasts. NJSTA shall own all rights, including copyrights, in and to the photos.
