 #NJSTAChats Presents

iNaturalist: A Tool for Exploration and Citizen Science

Wednesday, April 28th from 5:00 to 5:45 PM

and June 2nd from 5:00 to 5:45 PM

Please Join us for this FREE NJSTA Event!

Join Evangelina Pena from Gill St. Bernard's School, and Tanya Sulikowski from the Merrill Creek Reservoir as they present a two-part series exploring citizen science using iNaturalist.

iNaturalist and SEEK are FREE apps that can help you get students outdoors, whether you're teaching in-person or virtually. Over the course of this two-session workshop, you’ll meet the apps, learn tips for taking high-quality smartphone photos and experience the power citizen science has to engage budding explorers. Participants should practice using the apps and upload 5 observations before the workshop.

Most appropriate for middle, high school, and nonformal educators, but all are welcome.

We hope you will join us for this FREE NJSTA event!
