 #NJSTAChats Presents

Analyzing Primary Sources with a STEM Lens

Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM

We are pleased to have Jacqueline Katz as our presenter. Katz has taught biology and chemistry at Princeton High School in Princeton, New Jersey for the past 10 years. Katz has built a research program at the high school based on her own experience with cell and developmental biology research. She is the Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow at the Library of Congress for 2022-2023.

During this 90-minute interactive webinar we will focus on how primary sources can be utilized as launching phenomena in the science classroom. We will discuss the context that primary sources can provide for scientific knowledge. Participants will then have time to collaborate and identify primary sources they can utilize as phenomena in their own classrooms.
